All I can say now is that we will never stay here again. Front desk staff were friendly, place was well kept, looked new actually. We stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and it was lovely. Disappointing because our usual choice of hotels is usually Quality Inns. Thumbs up to staff and pricing, thumbs down to the room conditions. I also left my charger there, didnt realize till hrs later, went back and they found it. The lobby was beautiful but they need to move up to the rooms and really upgrade. Balcony doors either didnt work or bad draft or dirty. Lamps, bed frames, outside door all falling apart (peeling paint/veneer) the AC/Heater wall unit face falling off. Room 3 ok cleanliness but serious maintenance in this room. Room 2 ok with cleanliness, could do better on tub floor. The lamps were garbage, the toilet paper roll holder fell off, ceiling in bathroom paint totally peeling. Room 1 needed better cleaning (cobwebs, dirty floors).
The price was right but the rooms need some serious updating and maintenance. We were in for 1 night stay for a wake/funeral. It’s reasonable someone isn’t there around the clock, just felt bad that all that water was going to waste.… Called the front desk and they offered to move us, we were checking out so we were fine, and shared that the maintenance team wouldn’t be in for a few hours. Seemed like a valve may have failed allowing the water to continue running. Fast forward to the morning, after a shower the hot water faucet in the tub would not shut off. Same “dirty” water situation for the faucet but, again, after a few seconds all was well the sink was slow to drain but did. When I turned the faucets back off the water drip seemed better but not completely gone. After a few seconds things seemed normal. It seemed like maybe the tub just had not been used in a while and there was some build up. I ran both the hot and cold water and some funk came out but then the water ran clean. There was a drip when we walked in and some detritus in the tub itself. The one big issue with the room was the tub. The door to the bathroom was worn and needed a little extra effort to shut. The AC was set to 70, bedding was clean and the room was clean overall. Check-in was simple and we easily made out way to the room. Things like wall patches that have not been repainted and some general dingy-ness. There were some basic maintenance needs that were noticeable but did not detract from our stay. Troy is closed enough to the city to justify the drive for the cost savings and the Quality Inn presented a fair price. We are visiting Detroit and did not want to pay downtown prices. This hotel is a little dated but overall met our needs. Hotels near MJR Troy Grand Digital Cinema 16.It’s unfortunate that Ryobi offers no onboard charging system that would allow you to just plug the snow blower in and know that the next time you need it all four batteries would be filled. We found this step easy to forget, and during one snow we realized that we had only two fully charged batteries because we hadn’t put the other ones on the charger. Like the Ego SNT2405, the Ryobi RY40870 comes with a two-port charger, but with four batteries, this means that you need to swap out the first two once they’re full. That 20-minute stretch was enough for us to do quite a bit of clearing, but the real difficulty lay in the charging. In our tests, we got close to 20 minutes with the Ryobi, short of the Ego’s 25 to 26 minutes. But the battery life with all four batteries still falls short of what we saw from the Ego’s two batteries. With all of them engaged in the snow blower, you get increased run time. The Ryobi RY40870 needs two batteries to operate, but it has room for four and comes with four.
